A few things let this hotel down
Stayed here in October as a family of 4 (children 2 and 3 months). We enjoyed our stay but here's the things that knock this down from a 5 to 4 star rating: 1. We paid for half board and were astonished this only meant you could have water with your evening meal and no tea or coffee after. We have stayed half board in various hotels in the UAE and never not been able to even have a soft drink. 2. Rooms are dated - we had one directly above reception and the old school wooden decor needs an upgrade. It was also very dusty even though the cleaner did a lovely job everyday and is talented in his animal towel making skills. The amount of wood just attracts dust and needs a deep clean. 3. No evening entertainment for children or families. 4. Pool side drinks are a rip off - £11 for a diet coke and a soda water. 5. No complimentary water by the pool or beach which I have never experienced before. It is free in the rooms but cold water should be offered in 35 degree heat outside. 6. Link to the mall is great meaning you do not need to go outside to enter, but not if you have a pram or are a wheelchair user as there bollards blocking the entrance. 7. Receptions staff are really not that friendly. As you approach reception, instead of greeting you with a smile they just look at you. I was also told the shuttle bus ran everyday, booked the zoo to find out that it only goes to the zoo on weekends. Minor as we did not use the shuttle anyway due to how long it takes to get anywhere and the limited times but would have been helpful to be given proper information. Other than the above, great location, great food and a really lovely place to stay if looking for a beach holiday in Abu Dhabi but close enough to do Yas Island, Al Qana, Umm Al Emarat Park, Yas Mall etc. Just a bit far from the Corniche and Saadiyat Island. Special to the mention to the Concierge & Door men particularly John who are lovely.

Good hotel, great staff and service, excellent food. Suitable for family visits with children, also for couples. Al Raha Mall is next door and there is a way to the mall inside the hotel. For daily shopping and not only. There are shuttle services to zoo, mosque and other destinations. All is arranged for comfort and rest.

Excellent stay and great service
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the service was excellent throughout my visit. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the location was perfect and convenient. The atmosphere of the hotel was calm and relaxing, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I look forward to coming back again.

Excellent location, with excellent facilities.
Good: Location and facilities were first class. The breakfast was excellent and all the staff very friendly. The pool area was extremely and the beach was well maintained. Raja who cleaned our room was excellent and very attentive.
Bad: Everything was very good.

Hotel average and dated

Bad: Dated and lost a evening due to power cut

Clean room, comfortable bed, nice balcony. Nice bath, and seperate shower. Lovely pool and beach area. Breakfast buffet with lots of options, would have liked some pork bacon.

Everything has been fantastic and amazing! The service has been incredible from Raja, 5-5 stars ✨ The beach is really nice and the pool area is wonderful. You really don’t need to go anywhere else when booking this place.

Ali made akways a great aqua gymnastics and all entertainment.. everything is great. Thanks for all the staff in the hotel. I will always remember my holiday in Raha Beach.

Fantastic holiday!
We had a fantastic holiday at this hotel. The staff were amazing, in particular Gukan, who made towel animals that the kids were amazed by and couldn’t wait for their surprise each day to see what would be next! The buffet food was delicious, a great variety and the staff accommodating. Would be useful to have clearer information on what is included in the all inclusive, and if some ice lollies could be included that would be a bonus. The activities were also great, highlight being the foam party for the children! Would recommend and we hope to come back!

Exceptional Hospitality
I stayed at Al Raha Beach Resort for just one night on a Sunday while in town for work. I had booked the most basic available room since my stay was short, and I arrived exhausted after a long and busy weekend. To my pleasant surprise, the team upgraded me to a beautiful suite, which completely turned my experience around. The room was spacious, spotless, and had everything I needed to unwind. The comfort and quiet atmosphere made it the perfect place to recharge before getting back to work. A special thank you to Alya for her outstanding hospitality — she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and made me feel genuinely welcomed. Her professionalism and kindness truly stood out. Overall, even though my stay was short, it was one of the most relaxing and pleasant hotel experiences I’ve had recently. I’ll definitely return to Al Raha Beach Resort whenever I’m back in Abu Dhabi. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
