Bad: I was squeezed into a room and there was a terrible smell of cigarettes. It turns out that smoking is allowed in the rooms and I didn't see that on their website. It was terrible.

The hotel is very comfortable and pleasant. It's strategically located. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The large mosque is very close to the hotel. The staff and waiters were all very kind and friendly. The food was excellent and varied. The cleaning staff were also very friendly and helpful. Thank you, Mr. Farouk (Bangla) and others team, the cleaning staff member I often meet on the 20th floor. He's also quite fluent in Malay. He's very friendly and welcoming. This hotel is highly recommended. The room is spacious and has a bathtub. The room is clean and tidy.

Bad: They very day I arrived, they started some improvements to the pool. They should give advanced notice of this. I expected the facilities and furniture to be a bit more modern, and a little more variety in the protein at breakfast. Also, there was no toothbrush or toothpaste in the room, as is usually the case in other hotels.

I had an amazing stay at Novel Hotel thanks to the outstanding service of Mr. Adeel. He was friendly, very accommodating, and consistently went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable. His professionalism and hospitality truly made our experience memorable. Highly recommended!

Very average at best.
Firstly I need to say that the staff here were very friendly and helpful. The room, although rather dated, was comfortable and clean which means the basics were good. The room did however smell badly of cigarette smoke which wasn’t too nice. My major criticism however is concerning other non-resident (I assume) visitors. After a long day at work, I was looking forward to a meal and a couple of drinks. The sports bar in the hotel more than adequately ticked the box but I ended up only staying for about 10 minutes as a result of being repeatably hassled by ‘questionable’ women. Despite making it clear I was interested, one particularly was persistent. I paid my tab and left but the barmaid obv knew this woman. I ended up getting a takeaway and as I waited in reception for it to arrive, several ‘similar’ women made their way through reception to go up to the bar. The hotel really should stop this happening by preventing access to these women. And staff should be more proactive in removing them.

good place to stay, good location, clean room, good service. On my floor cleaning and service was done by Ram, he did a lot to make sure guests are satisfied with everything

We had a great experience, first time staying over here. I want to call out Adeel (bag boy) explicitly, he was very kind and helpful. He even helped us get a family taxi while we were coming down the elevator!
