I stayed at Green Mbazara Chalet for about two weeks with my family, and overall it was a okay experience. The location is nice, especially with the Mountain View’s, which made the stay more enjoyable.
The chalet is like a small house with a kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. It was a good size for our family of six, with enough space for everyone. The bedrooms were comfortable, and having a kitchen and dining area was convenient.
However, there are a few things that could definitely be improved. The cleanliness was okay, but it didn’t always feel very clean, and sometimes there were bugs like spiders and even small lizards. The living room furniture could also use updating, and overall the place felt a bit old inside.
The service was another downside. While we understand it can get busy, housekeeping and requests often took a long time sometimes over three hours, and we had to call multiple times. All workers were super kind especially the manager, but there was also one lady staff member at reception who came across as quite rude and spoke in an unmannerly and disrespectful tone, which affected the experience.
On the positive side, there’s a great nearby restaurant called Habib Beirut, which we really enjoyed.
Overall, it’s an okay place to stay with a nice location and good space for families, but with better service, cleanliness, and some updates, it could be much better. |
